Artist Club Limited (the club) is a private members' club in Banani, Dhaka. This notice explains how we handle the personal information of members, their guests and people who make a membership inquiry through this website. The secretariat is the point of contact for any question about your information.

What we collect

When you submit a membership inquiry we collect the name, email address, telephone number, preferred membership category and any message you provide. For members and their guests we hold the records needed to administer membership, bookings, billing and attendance at club events.

Why we use it

We use this information only to respond to inquiries, to consider applications through the Membership Sub-Committee, to administer membership and to keep members informed about the club. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Access is limited to the secretariat and to committee members who need it to carry out club business. We may share information with service providers (for example, email and payment processors) strictly to operate the club, and with authorities where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Inquiry records are kept only for as long as needed to consider the inquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Membership records are kept for the duration of membership and for a limited period after it ends, in line with the club's obligations.

Your choices

You may ask the secretariat to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to any records the club is required to retain. Write to the secretariat at the address on the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.

This notice is provided for general information and will be reviewed from time to time. For the avoidance of doubt, the club's constitution and house rules govern membership.
